The only thing that is nightmarish are Kasparov's awkward political steps...
The Russian government and some Georgian political opponents of Saakashvili have held meetings with each other.
Perhaps this is partly an attempt at payback.
Among these groupings (Russian government, Georgian political opposition to Saakashvili meeting Russian officials, Saakashvili and Kasparov), note who has greater credibility in their respective country.
This point is one which doesn't seem to get stressed, regarding the Saakashvili-Kasparov get together.
Such an issue relates to the Russian government involved English language media and PR projects .
